LIGHTHOUSE
The development of this sculpture from its original lump of clay can be seen in Conception. This piece originated from a desire to produce a hollow glass sculpture lit internally. It starts with a conical shape that is disrupted by a rectangular cantilevered beam similar to my Cello bronze sculpture. The back of the sculpture is dominated by a large rounded shape comparable to that of an airship. This sculpture has an LED light mounted inside.
